Euro truck simulator was one of my all time favorite games on steam. I’ve invested over +100 hours in the game. American truck simulator is very similar to Euro truck simulator.

In the demo you can only drive around California and not venture out to other states. But this is totally fine with me. Honestly I might wait until a steam sale drops, then I’ll buy the game. Currently the simulator is going for $19.99, a little pricey for me. Although the game is still great. It’s still able to capture everything that was good about Euro truck simulator. The relaxing nature of driving cross country, while turning up the radio, had a road trip kinda feel to it. Also, if you plan on playing the demo and actually liking it, your game save will transfer over to full game, when you decided to buy it. That’s a win win in my book.

Sometimes you just need a break from all the fast paced action of some games today. I would consider giving American truck simulator a go. sit back and enjoy driving in the great state of California.
