Nintendo Direct Airing March 3, No News on NX Yet

The Nintendo Direct Airing March 3rd at 2pm PT will focus mainly on the Wii U and 3DS, they have specified that they will not be announcing anything regarding the NX, which so many of us are anxiously waiting for. Instead they will focus on Summer releases and games that are on the horizon for the Wii U and 3DS. Their main focus might be the 3DS game that is set to release on April 15th, Bravely Second: End Layer, the sequel to the RPG hit Bravely Default. With the recent release of Fire Emblem Fates, I don’t see which other 3DS game they will talk about, perhaps they’ll give more info on Pokemon Sun and Moon.

On the Wii U front we have the Pokemon fighting game Pokken Tournament, which is also set to release in April, so we might hear about it on this Nintendo Direct. Also Star Fox Zero is another game that is set for release, so this will probably be another focus. Friday marks the release date for the re-mastered version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, so they might mention it in passing. What we are really hoping for ( and this is just wishful thinking ) is some news on The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U, but we’ll have to wait and see if this is so. As rumor has it that the game will be pushed for the NX instead of the Wii U, or they might release it for both, like they’ve done before.
