Since the launch last year, Overwatch has been a game of highs and lows. From the great addictive gameplay to the bad season ranking structure. The Blizzard game is still one of the most played games on both console and PC.
Overwatch will be holding it’s first ever double XP event this weekend from Thursday, June 8 at 5 p.m. PT and ends Monday, June 12 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
One year anniversary
The game officially hit it’s one year anniversary last month. To celebrate, the Overwatch team put together some fun skins to earn through loots boxes. The special event included more than 100 new cosmetic items, including 11 legendary character skins.
This weekend they plan on letting players earn loot boxes twice as fast with it’s double XP weekend. Blizzard stated that the 1,500 XP gain from tye one thing that won’t be double XP is the players’ first win of the day (which makes sense).
In the end, Blizzard is still on top of high quality games on any gaming platform. Whether it’s on console, mobile, or PC, Blizzard knows how to make a good game. Making that game last a year might be another question.
If you still Overwatch or think that Overwatch might be done after this double EXP event, let me know in the comments below.
