Pokémon 20th Anniversary Celebration, Pokémon Day, Special Bundles and Re-Releases

February 27th marks the 20th anniversary of its release in Japan, Pokémon, and with that come some special bundle releases and classic re-releases by Nintendo. First you will get a chance to relive your memories of playing your classic game boy with the re-release of Pokémon Red Version, Blue Version, and Pokémon Yellow Special Pikachu Edition in digital form on the Nintendo eShop for 9.99. These titles are playable on the Nintendo 3DS systems once downloaded and installed. Second, also on that day there will be a release of a New Nintendo 3DS™ special edition bundle, that will come with Pokémon Red, and Blue pre-installed and 2 cover plates, for 199.99.

In celebration, Gamestop has declared that day Pokémon day and will be holding a sale on all Pokémon related toys and collectibles not to mention games. Now is your chance to replay those classics and relive the adventures, or play them for the first time. As a game collector these are very exciting times. And as the collector that I am, I need to mention that with any purchase of Pokémon products you will receive a double sided poster.
