Shovel Knight on the Nintendo Switch?

With the Nintendo Switch press conference less then 48 hours away, Yatch Club Games has announced some really big news for Shovel Knight fans and those wanting to know what games will be on the Switch. Shovel Knights will be ported over to the Switch! Treasure Trove and Specter of Torment will both be heading to the Nintendo Switch. Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove will come bundled with Shovel Knight. As of now there is no set date for when the port will be done or how much it will cost.

Yatch Club has also announced 2 player co-op coming to console and PC port for free. Sadly the 3DS and vita are not included. Shovel Knight will also be renamed to Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope, they will also be adding more content through out the year.

This is exciting news due to Yatch Club being an Indie game company. With this news it may lighten a bit of bad news surrounding the Nintendo Switch. I know a few people who are a little iffy about buy a Switch due to there being a chance of no Indie games. Maybe with this it might make them change their minds and Nintendo seems to have a few things up their sleeves…

You can find more information about the port here at Yacht Clubs post, Switch-up!

Stay tuned to EXP Grind for more Nintendo Switch coverage. We plan on getting out every bit of information we can get from Nintendo and other video game companies with in the nest few days.
